We like to say these things are simple, but not easy. Leaders generally know them, but lack good models of effective application. I will close with one more truth. Your work is much more difficult without CLARITY. Lack of results is frustrating to every member of the team and often has significant implications (stress, financial losses, sacrificed family time, customer and employee turnover).
